Reinhard Gentz received a PhD in electrical engineering from Arizona State University, and his bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, in the field of Automation and Information (B.S.) and Optical Communication (M.S.). His research interests are communication technology, embedded systems and security.
